The seven-day, 800km international gravel race, from Knysna to Shamwari Game Reserve across the stunning Great Karoo. showcased the vision and ambition of the race organisers, who set out to deliver a world-class cycling experience.

Moonsport’s role was to help bring that vision to life, supporting the team across content, broadcast, strategy, and production in a seamless, integrated campaign. The goal was simple: help capture the spirit of the Karoo and tell the story of the race in a cinematic, engaging way. The production combined on-route filming, same-day 26-minute highlight shows for global syndication, social-first storytelling, and real-time creative updates, all delivered under extreme conditions with limited connectivity and ever-changing logistics.

A first-of-its-kind event in South Africa, Nedbank Gravel Burn demanded endurance, innovation, and precision from everyone involved.
