In 2025, Red Bull Shay’ iMoto pulled up in Durban. With our client Red Bull, our Sports Presentation team staged South Africa’s most electrifying spinning event. A new champion was crowned before a roaring crowd, with upgrades including a giant arena screen, a fresh judging panel, and live scoring that raised transparency, intensified drama, and set a benchmark for the sport’s future. This moment was years in the making.

In 2019, Red Bull first challenged Moonsport to bring one of South Africa’s wildest motorsport spectacles to life. The result was a groundbreaking showcase with 12 elite athletes and thousands of fans, immersed in every detail from DJs and MCs to lighting and music.

By 2024, the Dream Team returned to Cape Town to elevate the competition further, blending technical setup, athlete management, and entertainment into an adrenaline-fueled show that paved the way for Durban’s evolution.

Born in South African streets, spinning is more than motorsport. It’s artistry and community. Sixteen top spinners battle head-to-head, judged on control, creativity, style, and showmanship. Then the crowd takes over & the arena erupts as Red or Blue sections decide winners through pure energy.
